Ok, here is my latest idea. I was reading about Web 2.0 and the concept of harnessing the power of the user themselves and leveraging the power of customer self-service. Would a blog help us provide information to our students about how to use Bb and other technology related information? This is coming from someone who is yet to set up her own blog so, someone with more experience, please help me out here.
Thanks, Beth
Do you find this valuable?

More along the lines of using blogs is the idea of "switching from secrecy to transparency, communicating early and often and using new technologies such as blogs, wikis, delicious and RSS to deliver their messages to end users and support staff." October 15th, 2007 by Karine Joly This is a long but very interesting article, "The See-Through CEO" from the Match 2007 issue of WIRED, Issue 15.04 http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/15.04/wired40_ceo.html Very cool ways to change the culture of an organization and to better to work, I think. I was reading information from he 2007 Educause conference about a college is using a blog as a way to send information to students and to staff. The thinking is that the blog will deliver information and at the same time be interactive. Maybe we could try this as a way to communicate Blackboard information to faculty. Faculty can also use the blog to ask their questions and post reactions.
